DUTIES: The successful applicant will have the opportunity to provide services to outpatient, acute and long-term care clients. Potential areas of service include: preschool articulation, phonology, language, voice and fluency; post high school through adult articulation, language, voice and fluency as well as dysphagia assessment and intervention. The successful applicant will work together with an interdisciplinary team as well as with Speech Language Pathologists in the region. The incumbent will report directly to the Regional Manager, Developmental Health & Adult Speech and Hearing.

QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a Master?s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals is required. Experience in assessment and treatment techniques in the areas of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders is required. Candidates should possess well-developed organizational, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

*A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
