We are currently looking for an Airworthiness Coordinator to join our team in St. John's, NL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate airworthiness support for MRO and Modification programs.
Airworthiness support includes but not be limited to:
- Work scope development
- STC Validation.
- Certification compliance based on client requirements.
- Organize control program for MRO and Modification programs.
- Oversee onboarding process for all company and client AC including but not limited to importation preparation (IAW MSI26).
- Provide support to the PTS Airworthiness Program as required.
- Communicate identified issues to Airworthiness Manager in a timely manner and ensure discrepancies found have corrective actions required.
- Formulate Technical Records, Planning and Production to determine paths to accomplish required MRO and Modification airworthiness actions.
- Complete compliance review for received ICA's as required.
- Implement internal audits as required.
- Support quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) functions for MMR and Modification programs IAW with applicable customer and regulatory requirement. Provide guidance and support to airworthiness to team to achieve compliance with all applicable safety and quality standards.
- Deliver on the job training and mentoring to airworthiness coordinators.
- Conduct quality and safety inspections/audits of contract operations and subcontractors.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and support Airworthiness Manager in the dissemination of safety-related bulletins, technical changes, and literature to work site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety investigations as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- AME License preferred
- 3-5 years' experience in Aviation with a focus on maintenance programs.
- Experience in working with Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret requirements and apply to process development.
- Strong documentation management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in auditing in aviation environment is considered an asset.
- Technical knowledge of aircraft types operated and maintained by the company is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and effective time management skills.
- The ability to excel in a team environment and contribute to a diverse team.
