The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Lead, Business Systems Contract Management to join our Contract Management team based in Sudbury, Ontario.
This is a permanent on-site/remote hybrid position, working Monday to Friday - dayshifts.
In this role, you will leverage technology and systems to drive business process improvements, data integrity, and reporting excellence. You will provide guidance and support to optimize integrated planning, routine management, and contractor performance management.
Additionally, you will:
- Drive Process & System Optimization – Lead the development and implementation of business processes, data structures and systems to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
- Develop & Automate Business Tools – Build tailored applications, automated scripts, and queries to generate insights and streamline workflows.
- Standardize Reporting & Documentation – Create reports, performance metrics, dashboards and guidelines to enhance visibility of contract lifecycle performance ensure consistent and accurate business reporting.
- Ensure Seamless Contract Management Systems – Lead the optimization of Contract Management workflows and consolidation tools that leverage information between SAP, Power BI, Business Objects, and SharePoint platforms.
- Manage Data Warehousing & Secure Collaboration – Develop and maintain data warehouses, SharePoint sites, and collaborative platforms for efficient data sharing.
- Leverage Data for Strategic Decisions – Analyze key data metrics to support decision-making, scheduling, and continuous improvements across operations.
- Lead System Enhancements & Upgrades – Oversee project improvements, including system design, testing, implementation, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Facilitate Stakeholder Training & Support – Collaborate with teams to provide training, coaching, and troubleshooting for business systems and tools.
About You
Education:
- Bachelors' Degree in IT, B. Comm, or related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of similar experience is required.
- Proficiency SAP Business Objects or equivalent ERP system/Business Intelligence suites (Ariba/Oracle/Ellipse) is preferred.
- Data Analysis & Visualization: Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, data modeling, visualization) and knowledge of programming languages
- Business Acumen: Understanding of supply chain, procurement, and contract management processes
- Technical & Leadership Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, SharePoint, etc.), business intelligence report creation, and 2-3 years of leadership experience
Skills:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and work well with others in a team environment.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be obsessed with safety and risk.
- Must demonstrate open and transparent dialogue in all aspects of work.
