Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with Inter Talk Critical Information Systems, a company developing world class public safety/critical information systems, on their search for a Senior Software Developer to join their team.
The Senior Software Developer will bring expertise in C++ and eager to jump in and contribute by optimizing code for performance and reliability and make an impact. As a key contributor on the team, you will be working on customer projects, product enhancements, continuous improvements, and new product development and design. while collaborating with teams of smart, supportive and high-performance people throughout the organization. will be a to join our team and work to elevate InterTalk's world class public safety/critical information systems.

Responsibilities include:

· Contributing to software and hardware product design and development within the following areas: technical architecture and design, technology selection, development process improvement, bug fixes, hardware verification testing, developing automated test frameworks, adding new software features to existing products, optimizing developer tools and frameworks and coaching and mentoring junior developers and other team members

· Ensure testing best practices in software and hardware verification, including hardware verification testing, unit, functional, regression and performance testing and developing automated test frameworks

· Contribute to software quality through code-review of peer-submitted change-sets

· Develop software and system documentation

· Work with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance

· Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system

· Provide input to system testing and validation procedures

Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience

· A minimum of 5 years of practical development experience working with a software company

· Expertise with C++14, Linux, event driven architecture

· Experience with Git

· Experience with IP Networking, Wireshark/tcpdump

· Practical experience with airgapped and mission-critical software troubleshooting and debugging

· Demonstrated ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced ambiguous environment

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong organization and time management skills

· Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills

· Collaborative work philosophy
