Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, South America and Australia. Our company's success is driven by our dynamic, highly skilled, and innovative management team, supported by dedicated employees who live in coastal communities and contribute to the local area's economy and sense of community.

The Role

Cooke is advancing its digital transformation through fusion Business Capability Teams and cross-functional Product Teams that deliver data, analytics, and automation solutions. As a Business Relationship Manager (BRM), you serve as a strategic connector—ensuring alignment between IT, business capabilities, and products that drive measurable value across aquaculture, processing, distribution, and corporate functions.

You are the primary liaison between IT and an assigned portfolio of Business Capability and Product Teams. You help shape and prioritize the initiatives that bring digital strategy to life—bridging business needs, enterprise architecture, and delivery planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnering

  • Build strong knowledge of your assigned business domains: strategy, KPIs, user journeys, regulatory and operational context
  • Facilitate quarterly roadmap and maturity reviews with Capability and Product Teams
  • Ensure technology strategy reflects both business priorities and enterprise standards

Value & Demand Management

  • Identify and assess opportunities with business teams using the Opportunity Prioritization framework
  • Guide teams through the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process and ensure alignment to architectural principles
  • Use TBM and business-case inputs to articulate cost, value, and expected benefits

Portfolio & Delivery Support

  • Track delivery status of initiatives and major product releases impacting your assigned teams
  • Help manage interdependencies, risks, and escalations across vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders
  • Support benefit realization by ensuring follow-through on committed outcomes

Stakeholder Coaching & Influence

  • Support Capability and Product Owners in adopting modern tools (e.g., Power Platform, M365) and agile planning principles
  • Guide teams in shaping their backlog around outcomes, MVPs, and iterative delivery
  • Communicate clearly with senior leaders—balancing business value and technical implications

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Help mature documentation practices, templates, and analytical standards
  • Champion reuse and shared understanding across initiatives, avoiding duplication of efforts
  • Contribute to defining best practices for early-stage analysis, architecture planning, and solution governance

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline (MBA an asset)
  • 5+ years in BRM, product-facing IT, or business-aligned strategic roles
  • Experience working across multi-functional teams in global environments (manufacturing, food production, or supply chain preferred)
  • Strong grasp of enterprise IT governance (ARB, TBM, vendor lifecycle) and agile planning principles
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into capability roadmaps and digital solutions
  • Skilled in stakeholder influence, executive communication, and cross-cultural collaboration
  • Familiarity with Microsoft cloud, integration patterns, and data platforms (Power BI, Fabric, etc.)

Join our team and enjoy the benefits of full-time year-round employment with competitive rates and a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support your well-being and career growth.

Benefits Package:

  • Health Benefits: Includes coverage for dental, vision, and extended medical care.
  • Insurance: Life and disability insurance provided for financial security.
  • Support Services: Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Financial Planning: Opportunity for RRSP matching to support your retirement savings.
  • Time Off: Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave for work-life balance.
  • Wellness: Wellness programs and access to on-site gym facilities (available in some locations).
