This is a unique, hands-on General Manager position where you'll have the opportunity to work closely with each and every staff member, developing and leading them to success. Compensation: Commensurate with knowledge, skills, and abilities. Base plus performance bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Managing the overall performance of the dealership, including sales, finance, service, and parts departments.
- Collaborating with department managers to set and achieve financial and operational goals.
- Leading, coaching, and developing department managers and staff to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Ensuring that the dealership delivers a superior customer experience and maintains excellent customer satisfaction ratings.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Monitoring financial performance, optimizing cost efficiencies, and ensuring profitability across the dealership.
- Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Need:
- A minimum of 5 years of dealership management experience.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple departments.
- A solid understanding of dealership financials, sales, and service operations.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving high customer satisfaction ratings.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Experience (Not Required but Beneficial):
- Previous General Manger experience or brand experience.
- Knowledge of automotive retail and wholesale financing.
- Familiarity with dealer management systems (DMS) and other relevant technologies.
