Job Title: Yard Shunter with Class 1 License

Schedule: Afternoon or Nights

Salary: $26.00/hr + $2.00/hr Premium for Overnight shift

Location: Mont-Royal, Qc

Immediate Availability

We are seeking a Class 1 driver with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, including at least 1 year of shunting experience (preferred), to manage trailer movements within a yard. Fluency in both French and English is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Execute trailer moves within the yard efficiently and safely.
• Receive and follow instructions via tablet and radio, ensuring timely updates to the system.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and adhere to industry-leading safety protocols.
• Operate an Ottawa-style Shunt Truck safely and effectively.

Requirements:

• A current and valid Class 1 driver's license.
• A minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a Class 1 license, including at least 1 year of shunting experience.
• Strong proficiency in blindside backing into docks.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
• Commitment to working in compliance with health and safety standards.
