AZ Shunter / Shipper

Location: Cambridge, ON

We are immediately hiring an AZ Shunter with shipping and order picking experience for a food production facility located in Cambridge. This role includes Shipping & Receiving duties, with a majority of the role involving shunting trailers within the yard and to their holding yard down the road.

Wage: $22.73/hr

Shift: 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

• Ability to hook up and move 46-53' trailers with a day cab
• Maintain logs
• Shipping and Receiving duties include computer use, order picks, review BOL, RF scanning
• Complete reefer checks regularly
• Adhere to all food safety measures
• Complete moves using radio

Job Requirements:

• Must hold a valid AZ license
• Minimum 1 year of driving or shunting experience (a shunt test will be required)
• Forklift experience preferred - will be in-house certified
• Willing to provide abstract & CVOR dated within 30 days
• Willing to provide a criminal background check
