Machine Operator / Shop Helper

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Near Kennedy & Finch)

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Fridays 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr

Overview

This position will be responsible for operating various machines and presses within a custom sheet manufacturing facility. The Machine Operator/Shop Helper will be responsible for assisting with various tasks across the shop, engaging in heavy lifting, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Operate various machines and presses within a metal manufacturing setting.
• Assist with different tasks across the shop.
• Work in the spray booth (prep and spraying).
• Organize and manage inventory.
• Perform additional tasks, including paint prep duties, as assigned.
• Regularly engage in heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Work Environment:

• Metal manufacturing setting
• Use of various machines and presses, and working in the spray booth
• Physical work including lifting, standing, and walking.
