Senior Shift Supervisor - Thermal

Status: Term (Anticipated end date - March 30, 2030)
Location: Holyrood

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe, efficient, secure and effective operation of the Holyrood Thermal Generating Station.
• Supervise and direct shift operators in the start-up, loading and operation of plant equipment under all conditions.
• Ensure the Holyrood Thermal Generating Station operates within statutory limits including the Provincial Boiler Pressure Vessel and Compressed Gas Regulations under the Public Safety Act.
• Responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program and responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.

What You'll Need:

• Possess a Technology Diploma (Power Engineering) from a recognized post secondary institution with an interprovincial Second Class Power Engineer's Certificate of Competency.
• Thorough knowledge of all equipment in an oil fired generating station.
