0.48 hours (as Scheduled plus Call-In per Pay)

*East Cumberland Lodge operates 24/7 year round. Shift work consists of 4, 8 and 12 hour shifts regardless of weekday or weekend.

*Applicants for any position with the Resident Care Department must be able to fulfil shiftwork requirements that include daytime, evening, and overnight shifts as operationally required. Questions regarding the frequency and volume of such shifts should be posed to the Director of Resident Care or designate.

As per the CUPE local 2391 Collective Agreement ($28.32-30.42/hr)

· Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Nova Scotia or eligible to become licensed with the CLPNNS.

· Completion of the NS Provincial Alzheimer's Course or successful completion when course next available.

· Experience in the Resident Care Department of this facility preferred.

· Must be willing to assist residents with daily activities.

· Demonstrated competencies in physical assessment, medication administration and care plan development.

· Ability to perform job requirements as in job description. *Job description available upon request.
