POSITION: Fatherhood Matters Program Facilitator

QUALIFICATIONS: Our organization is seeking individuals with an undergraduate degree in human services, psychology or sociology who has experience working with youth and adults.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Reporting to the Strengthening Fathers and Fatherhood Matters Program Coordinator, the worker will provide direct support to male-identifying caregivers through program facilitation.

The Fatherhood Matters program is designed to support male-identifying caregivers in their parenting role by enhancing promotive and protective factors, while reducing or mitigating risk factors that impact caregivers, their children, and their families.

This program aims to:

  • Build skills and knowledge for positive family life
  • Provide tools to support parenting and co-parenting
  • Promote positive child development, well-being, and safety

Additionally, this position supports male-identifying caregivers in connecting with resources that address their needs across the social determinants of health, while also helping them build strong, supportive connections within their communities.
