Halifax Water is accepting applicants for One (1) Regular Field Service Technician, Level 2, in the Metering and Billing Section of the Corporate Services Department. Responsabilités

The successful incumbent will, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Metering or designate, be involved in customer relations wherein the general work includes connecting & disconnecting metered water service, investigating customer inquiries, meter reading, enforcement of collection procedures and repair of metering equipment. You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations and Halifax Water's Occupational Health and Safety Program Manual.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications, for this position, include grade 12 plus a minimum of one year of previous related experience. Education relating to Plumbing, Metering, Mechanical or Electric trades would be an asset. Excellent customer service skills, a valid NS Driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record. The Field Service Technician is a regional position and may be required to work in any of our locations.
