POSITION: Therapeutic Supports Worker (4 days a week)

LOCATION: Waycobah, Nova Scotia (Eastern Region)

QUALIFICATIONS: Our organization is seeking an individual with a Master's Degree in Social Work, a related Master's degree in counselling, or a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree with a minimum of five years' experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting. This is a part-time position (4 days per week).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Reporting to the Therapeutic Supports Coordinator, the Therapeutic Support Worker is responsible for delivering therapeutic services to adults, youth, and families. Required skills include strong engagement abilities, experience with solution-focused approaches, and a solid understanding of trauma-informed principles. The worker will operate as part of a collaborative team and will participate in reflective supervision.

Persons considered for this position must have a clear police background check, a clear child abuse registry check, and a valid driver's license. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority (all applicants should indicate their status as a Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
