FUND NAVIGATOR
Position: Full Time contract position (two-year appointment)
Available: June 2025
Term: June 30, 2025 - July 31, 2027 (two-year appointment)
Scope:
The Fund Navigator assists municipalities in identifying infrastructure funding opportunities and crafting strong applications to better position these municipalities for successful outcomes. The Fund Navigator also assists elected municipal officials that are working with community groups and not-for-profits to identify funding opportunities. A complete position description is available
Training:
Consists of a comprehensive job training program plus an orientation to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and engage with a broad range of potential applicants
- A self-directed individual with the ability to meet deliverables outlined in a workplan
- Demonstrated understanding of community initiatives and projects
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent research and organizational skills
- Experience in grants administration and program delivery considered assets
- Experience within a municipal government setting or the broader municipal sector considered an asset
- Post-secondary education required
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to work with stakeholders
- Strong sense of team effort and willingness to work with other staff
Hours of Work:
8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday
Some evening and weekend work required from time to time
Salary & Benefits:
- $63,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
