KITCHEN DESIGNER

Position Overview:

The kitchen designer is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while driving sales. They approach clients with a consultative approach and use creative systems such as 20-20 Design to provide design services, product options, and quotes for their projects. They present the various financing options available in-store and promote related products and services. In short, our kitchen designers thrive on selling the complete project. This position requires precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires first identifying clients' specific needs and then making sales that fit their budget—all to help them achieve their dream kitchen project.

Required Experience and Skills

· At least one year of experience in a sales-oriented environment.

· Thrive in selling the entire project.

· Excellent reading, communication, math, and customer service skills.

· Knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to read architectural and floor plans.

· Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Knowledge of kitchen and bathroom cabinets and design software (e.g., 20-20 and AutoCAD) is an asset.

· Pay attention to detail and demonstrate autonomy while working as a team.
