Salary range: $47,189.45 to $53,580.19 annually

Responsabilités

Reporting to the Manager, Administrative Services for the Eastern Region, you will:

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the campus Business Office sufficient to develop recommendations.
  • Oversee assigned functions such as accounts receivables, student financials, data entries, T2202s, invoicing, PCI Compliance, payables, purchasing, etc.
  • Resolve non-routine administrative problems.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational workflow of the Business Office ensuring smooth workflow and efficient functioning of assigned tasks.
  • Determine when problems require the attention of a higher-level manager and explain those problems and their impact and suggest possible solutions.
  • Complete payment processing, student loan processing, create payment plans, deferrals, sponsorship coordination, invoicing, withdrawal letters, outstanding balance collections, and respond to general student account queries as required.
  • Provide daily direction and guidance to administrative support staff by determining work methods and procedures, providing training, and monitoring activities to ensure timely and effective operations.
  • You may serve as a member of a board/committees as a representative of the Business Office.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration.

  • You have a minimum of three years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Experience within finance, accounting, and/or a student account environment would be considered an asset.

  • Demonstrated customer service experience with ability to communicate effectively and courteously within a diverse environment.

  • Occupational experience using PeopleSoft Student, SAP or other account management software would be considered an asset.

  • You are comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, and have a strong, demonstrable knowledge of Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.

  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology, and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work.

  • Experience training others would be considered an asset.

  • Experience in an educational environment supporting and/or providing services to students and prospective students would be considered an asset.

  • You have proven records and information management skills and abilities with a focus on data accuracy and integrity, along with a drive to improve efficiencies.

  • Demonstrate problem solving abilities and an ability to work independently.
