The Transaction Screening team is a risk management function responsible for the governance of sanctions screening solutions globally, enterprise wide. The team leads and oversees Global Sanctions Program's screening solutions management functions, ensuring tuning methodology, rules governance framework, and screening standards are developed, managed, executed, and maintained in compliance with governing regulations, internal bank-wide policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

Support the sanctions screening solutions management function globally, enterprise-wide:
Project Support
• Assist in the execution of strategic initiatives related to transaction screening, including solution design, process enhancements, and system implementation.
• Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, IT, Operations, and the Business, to collect requirements, track progress, and resolve issues.
Governance and Documentation
• Support the maintenance of framework documents, including tuning methodology, screening standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of business requirements, workflows, and project milestones.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for regulatory examinations, internal audits, and stakeholder updates.
Data Analysis and Reporting
• Perform data analysis to support decision-making for strategic initiatives, tuning recommendations, and process improvements.
• Assist in testing and reporting on the efficacy and efficiency of transaction screening systems.
• Collaborate with the data and analytics team to ensure the quality and integrity of data used in sanctions screening systems.
Compliance and Risk Management
• Support the operationalization of Risk Tolerance Frameworks and ensure alignment with sanctions regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and track issues related to transaction screening systems, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed.
• Contribute to fostering a risk-based approach and compliance culture across the Global Sanctions Program.
Stakeholder Communication
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior stakeholders on project progress, risks, and impacts.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

People and Culture
• Lead and drive a customer focused culture and deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Create and foster an environment in which his/her team and colleagues pursue effective and efficient operations, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, law, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in compliance, governance, or project management roles.
• Knowledge of sanctions regulatory requirements and transaction screening systems is an asset.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, PowerBI) is a plus.
