$125,000 - $156,000 CADThis role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

Job Description:

We are an Enterprise Payment Tokenization platform offering customer ability to securely provision their TD credit and debit cards into 3rd party mobile wallets and to also use securely their eligible TD cards for e-commerce. As a senior member of the organization, you must thrive in a technical leadership role and naturally be collaborative & transparent team member. You will lead a team of developers, providing a wide range of application or system solutions to the organization, ensuring standards are met and business objectives are achieved. Also provide technical leadership and guidance beyond own team.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of prior Java Development experience, using Java technologies

  • 5+ years of J2EE / Spring Boot / Spring Framework / Spring Cloud

  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls

  • Hands on experience with web-based API driven application architectures and frameworks (RESTful API, JSON, OIDC / OAUTH) and the way it integrates with services.

  • Experience working with messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka, TIBCO, JMS, or equivalent)

  • 5+ years experience using both relational (Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB)

  • Experience and solid understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography standards and concepts (RSA, ECC, 3DES, AES)

  • Familiarity with payment network (Visa / MasterCard / EMV) tokenization standards is an asset

  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and experience with DevOps

  • Manages a sizeable group or team of IT professionals (e.g.

  • Responsible for development / solutions design on enhancements and new releases

  • Orchestrates the development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancement.

  • Typically reports to a Senior Manager or executive.

  • Responsible for management of the development team providing both leadership and technical detailed design guidance.

  • Work with technology partners to ensure that environment modifications interact appropriately, data conversion impacts are considered, and other areas of impact are addressed and meet performance requirements.

  • Ensure scheduled changes take place with proper testing, monitoring, and implementation and with little or no adverse impact to the business.

  • Oversee the integration of systems, in accordance with prescribed technical interfaces to ensure a high level of service and support to the client and efficient system operation.

  • Lead effort to test, debug, and performance analyze and document environment components.

  • Foster an environment and culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.

  • Act as an escalation point for all risks and issues affecting the development team, and for working to define and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Responsible for delivering in line with financial forecast and plan, and achieving benefits targets as defined for Application Development teams.

  • Identify all development related project dependencies and risks and ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks.

Business Skills:
  • Good communication skills. Experience in collaborating efficiently in Scaled Agile environment.

  • Demonstrable experience working efficiently with PMs and our business sponsors.
