The Role
Reporting to the Director and Head, IB Analytics. The Director, CoE Business Intelligence and Reporting is responsible for all the regional Business Intelligence and Reporting requirements across International Banking.
The incumbent is expected to act as key intake point and advisor to business stakeholders, identifying activities and recommending solutions to drive insights that support client prospecting and acquisition, relationship deepening, retention, client primacy, balance growth, cross-sell/up-sell, client level pricing, product activation and usage. This role serves as the primary analytics point of contact across International Banking who acts as a SME in Business Intelligence including, but not limited to, business insights for portfolio management leveraging reporting. The role is responsible for the development and implementation of market-leading data visualizations to identify, drive, and capture business value. The incumbent will lead and develop a team of senior analytics professionals across our footprint to enable the delivery of cutting-edge reporting across International Banking. The incumbent will act as a champion for our business products and the client, while at the same time assessing activities to consider their impact on all potential stakeholders.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Providing advanced business and client insights to business line heads and their staff to identify and quantify opportunities to drive sustainable profit growth for International Banking.
- Being the primary analytics reporting subject matter expert for business stakeholders for their initiatives, providing end-to-end analytics support by developing best-in-class data visualizations.
- Overseeing the analysis of portfolio metrics, including client dynamics and strategic KPIs, providing the business team with advanced data insights and recommendations that will contribute to the improvement and optimization of the overall portfolio financial performance.
- Owning the definition, operationalization and updates to key performance indicators that will inform the overall strategy and direction of regional business initiatives.
- Driving adoption and usage of the new Cloud capabilities and migration of reporting to the new GCP based platform.
- Empower and enable the business intelligence team to achieve business objectives by creating a workplace environment that is open, with frequent lines of communication between team members.
- Interact with and build trust with a senior audience across International Banking Business Leadership

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed??- We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Proven expert in analytics, data management and performance measurement
- The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Economics or Statistics from an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Banking & Analytics.
- A solid knowledge and understanding of reporting concepts and methodologies; proficiency utilizing a variety of analytical tools.
- Recognized and resilient team leader who inspires a results-oriented customer-centric culture.
- Exceptional business planning, strategy development and execution skills
- Proven relationship management skills with demonstrated seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders including senior executives.
- Experience in leading teams and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strong collaborative skills—Analytics & Insights is a team sport.
- Strong Knowledge of Banking products, Risk Management and Finance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical and executive audience.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Self-motivated, driven and impact oriented.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving and analytical skills to rapidly assess problem situations and creatively develop alternate solutions and approaches necessary to resolve high-level, complex problems.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish are required.
Working Conditions
- Work in a standard environment (office-based and occasionally from home); non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel internationally.
