We're looking for a sharp, motivated, and people-savvy Controller to steer the financial operations at Fundy Honda. If you know your debits from your credits and love developing teams as much as reconciling ledgers, this could be your perfect next move!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Taking the lead on all things finance for the dealership—your world will include payroll, AP/AR, balance sheets, income statements, deal postings, and more.
- Ensuring the books are accurate, the reports are on point, and the process is always improving.
- Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and prepping for year-end like a pro.
- Building budgets, forecasting trends, and offering insights that help drive smart decisions.
- Coaching, developing, and supporting your accounting team—because great leadership matters.
- Working alongside department managers to support day-to-day business success.
- Staying in sync with Steele's Corporate Finance team, keeping communication clear and reporting timely.
- Occasionally packing a bag—some travel may be required.
- A post-secondary education in accounting, commerce, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience (bonus points if it's in the auto industry).
- A track record of leading and inspiring teams.
- Advanced Excel wizardry and strong MS Office skills.
- A knack for learning systems quickly—HRIS experience is great, but not required.
- A love for the details, the data, and the story behind the numbers.
- Strong communication skills—you're not just good with numbers, you're great with people too.
