Salary range: $56,859.82 to $66,893.90 annually
Reporting to the Principal at Sydney Waterfront Campus, with functional direction from the Executive Assistant to the VP, Campuses and Communities, you will:
- Provide confidential administrative support and administrative leadership such as accurately maintaining the principal's electronic calendar and daily agenda, submitting travel and expense claims, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, collating data, preparing campus newsletters and drafting, proofreading, and editing a variety of correspondence.
- Support the overall coordination of campus communications through various communication channels including email, MS Teams, Office 365 Tools and updating and maintaining the Sydney Waterfront Campus Connect site.
- Provide day-to-day administration of the activities of the Principal's office.
- Liaise with guests to the Principal's Office on meeting requirements and logistics.
- This position requires a high level of initiative with an incumbent who anticipates needs and takes proactive measures within scope of authority.
As a member of the broader Campus and Communities (C&C) administrative leads' team, this role will actively support the C&C portfolio by proactively engaging and collaborating with the Executive Assistant to the VP of C&C, who serves as the functional lead to all Principals' Administrative Assistants.
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Certificate and/or Diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration.
You have a minimum of 5 years (full-time equivalent) of progressive experience at senior administrative levels in a fast-paced office environment.
Experience working with various teams within an organization on the coordination, tracking and stewardship of projects, to ensure quality assurance.
Demonstrated experience working proactively and independently while effectively managing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Occupational experience that includes administrative support for an executive role or a senior leader would be considered an asset.
Excellent computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Expertise in leveraging technology to steward administrative tasks and projects with Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, One Note, Teams, Planner and Forms.
Experience using workplace solution applications in the work environment (i.e., Peoplesoft, Cognos, etc.).
You are proficient in working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to leveraging technology to ensure the most effective outputs.
You are highly organized and able to coordinate competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
