What You'll Do

This is more than dispatch - it's mission control. You'll be the central hub connecting drivers, customers, and internal teams to keep deliveries moving smoothly, on time, and stress-free.

In this hybrid role, you will:

Dispatch & Driver Coordination

  • Be the go-to contact for our long-haul drivers, guiding them with accurate load details, appointment times, and customer-specific instructions
  • Keep dispatch software updated in real time with trip notes, delays, wait times, and extra charges
  • Proactively plan driver assignments for efficiency, compliance, and success
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless communication on all freight activity
  • Keep all stakeholders informed on driver progress and upcoming needs

Business Support

  • Schedule customer appointments and troubleshoot any service delays or changes with professionalism and care
  • Book freight orders for regular house accounts and help ensure end-to-end service excellence

What You Bring to the Table

  • Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or customer service
  • Strong knowledge of dispatching tools (Fleet Manager is a bonus!)
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
  • A cool head in high-pressure situations with competing priorities
  • Understanding of Hours of Service (HOS), truck routing, and load security
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and planning tools
  • Team-first mindset, positive attitude, and high attention to detail
