Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Bogart's Jewellers in search of a full-time permanent Goldsmith.

The Goldsmith will report to upper management and be responsible for crafting and repairing jewelry pieces using a variety of tools and techniques.

Bogart's Jewellers is a locally owned and operated jewellery store in Newfoundland. They have seven locations across Newfoundland to serve customers since 1992. They care about their customers and being a part of the special moments in their life.

The Job

Perform day to day jewellery repair
Finishing new castings. This includes soldering, diamond/ gemstone setting & tightening, sizing rings, re-tipping prongs, polishing and rhodium plating for all types of metals including silver, gold, and platinum.
Other duties as required to support the team

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Goldsmith or in a similar role
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for jewelry making
Understanding of various metals and gemstones
Strong attention to detail and precision
Experience with Computer Aided Jewellery Design (CAD) would be an asset.
