Our Halifax office is currently seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our Business Law practice group.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service clients in a wide range of business law related matters, review and negotiate commercial and transactional contracts including commercial leases, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, financing agreements, etc.
- Advise on corporate and commercial legal aspects of and implement business and tax strategies in the context of corporate reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Advise on a variety of business law matters.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Three + years of relevant work experience;
- Strong research and writing skills and demonstrated ability to navigate complex business issues;
- Self-motivated and can work independently but also values working collaboratively;
- Proven effective client and practice management skills;
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, and
- Demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset is an asset.
