Roseway Manor is a 66 bed, Long Term Care Facility located in Shelburne, NS. We are currently seeking to hire a Recreation Assistant for 8 weeks (July-August)

The Recreation Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our Residents and upholding Roseway Manor's Philosophy of Service: Mission and Vision.

Responsibilities:

- Delivery of recreation, leisure, and therapeutic programs to and for the Residents at Roseway Manor with varying levels of capabilities

- Documentation and accurate record keeping

- May be required to assist with outside events such as: van drives, picnics etc.

Qualifications:

Under the mandate of the CSJ Summer Employment Guidelines eligibility criteria includes:

- All youth age 15-30

- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment

- Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to working in Canada
