Description:
· Provide support to Project Managers for rehabilitation projects, including the preparation, monitoring and execution of project plans, reports, proposals, contracts, invoice review and tracking, and budget analysis/forecasting.
· Assist with contractor agreements and scope changes and coordinating the contract review and approval process.
· Provide database management assistance.
· Support project managers with document control, setting up project team meetings and facilitating responses to questions based on information provided by the technical teams.
· Responsible for compiling and updating all as-built information pertaining to project work completed on the FMH.
Education: Post-secondary education in a business administration or project management related program.
License: Class 5
IT: Strong working knowledge of MS Office (MS Project, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience:
· Engineering Technician/Technology diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution, or a Civil Engineering degree is an asset.
· Two (2) years' experience in highway project administration is an asset.
· Knowledge of highway maintenance/roadways is an asset.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to equipment, traffic, working outdoors, and noise.
