Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. The Advanced Orthodontic Technician is responsible for manufacturing and repairing all types of orthodontic appliances. The Advanced Orthodontic Technician works closely with our dentists and clinics in a co-treatment relationship.

Responsibilities

• Fit orthodontic bands to models
• Bend wire
• Solder wire
• Weld wire
• Make vacuum form stents on Erkoform and Biostar
• Trim vacuum form stents
• Set denture teeth for retainers
• Acrylic powder/liquid work
• Working knowledge of all ortho appliances

Requirements

• Minimum 3 - 5 years ortho work experience
• Experience in complex cases is essential.
• Skills & Abilities: Intense visual concentration when working on dental cases. Strong communicator with effective interpersonal skills. Team player, client focus, keen to learn, positive attitude
