Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals to clients. Your expertise in construction estimating and project management will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects.

Duties:

• - Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
• - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
• - Research and source pricing information for materials, equipment, and labor
• - Prepare detailed proposals outlining project scope, timeline, and cost breakdowns
• - Review and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors
• - Monitor project budgets and provide ongoing cost analysis throughout the construction process
• - Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project execution
• - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in construction technology

Experience:

• - Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• - Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
• - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents
• - Excellent mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations
• - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• - Experience in project management is preferred
• - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors
