Maintenance Technician

Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Saint John, NB. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, while growing with the company.
Available Shifts: Monday - Sunday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Rate of Pay: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities:

· Effective communication skills.

· Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and miscellaneous maintenance.

· Materials handling and moving construction items around work sites.

· Valid driver's License/Vehicle required.

· Ability to work well within a team environment and independently.

· Load and unload construction materials, general clean-up.

· Lifting up to 40 lbs.

· Work in a team environment.

· Other duties, as required.

Candidate Requirements:

· General maintenance on residential and commercial spaces.

· Renovations - LVP/Laminate flooring installation, Paint, Drywall Repairs, Minor Plumbing and Electrical Repairs, Door/Window Installation and Repair, other miscellaneous repairs.

· Coordinate and communicate with tenants and team members.

· Working indoors/outdoors.

· Steel-toed safety boots, safety vest (CSA Approved), hard hat, safety glasses and work gloves.

· Be reliable and punctual; flexible, able to follow directions, hardworking.

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

· Experience in concrete work is considered an asset.

· Fall Arrest and Aerial Lift certifications are considered an asset.
