Forklift Operator – Overnight/Early Morning

We are actively seeking Forklift Operators, on behalf of one of Canadas most reputable Transportation and Logistics Companies. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the proper and safe handling of inbound and outbound freight into the warehouse. You will maintain a clean work environment with a focus ensuring that all products are shipped and accounted for using RF Scanners. You will be required to read Bills of Ladings and other related shipping documents to ensure product counts and types are accurate.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.25 per hour
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 2:00 am - 10:30 am

Location: Saint John, NB

Responsibilities:

· Working within a Fast-Paced environment

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

· Operation of a Sit-down Propane Counterbalance Forklift

· Loading and unloading of trailers in a Cross-Dock setting

· Organizing freight within the warehouse

· Utilizing RF Scanners

· Entering Data and Bills of Lading/Manifests into Computers

· Additional duties as requested and assigned by supervisor/lead hand.

Requirements:

· Possess a valid forklift certification.

· Cross dock warehouse experience is considered a strong asset.

· 1 year of verifiable Forklift Experience

· Criminal Record Check may be required as part of the onboarding process.

· Knowledge of basic computer skills and products such as Microsoft Office tools

· Self-motivated and ability to work efficiently with little to no supervision.

· Ability to work within a team environment.
