Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for the role of Administrative Assistant: Medical.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated individual who is exceptionally organized, detail oriented, with exceptional computer skills and seeking potential growth within their role. In this position the qualified candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a medical office.
Available Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Rate of Pay: $22.00 an hour
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
• Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
• Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
• Assist with patient intake forms and ensure accuracy of patient records
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing
• Handle general office tasks such as filing, typing, proofreading, etc.
• Providing Exceptional customer service
Candidate Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• A minimum 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant in a Medical setting
• Completion of a Medical Administrative Program
