FULL TIME POSITION (40HOURS/WEEK)
Availibility required from Monday to Friday- 6-16h

• Load and unload trucks keeping in mind weight, size, height etc.
• Follow The Home Depot safety policies and procedures and encourage others to do the same
• Tag, identify and store product in proper designated areas
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
• Perform spot checks on all product off loaded, taking into account quantity and quality
• Maintain constant stock rotation of all products
• Load all store requirements on a daily basis
• Ensure outgoing product and quantities are shipped properly
• Maintain proper loading patterns when loading flat bed trailers keeping in mind height and axle weights
• Safety expectations for this role are outlined under The Home Depot Canada Environmental Health & Safety Management system element under "Worker"
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Distribution Centre Management

• Minimum one year experience operating a forklift counter balance truck
• Lumber knowledge an asset with experience in unloading and loading lumber
• Ability to change or adapt work practices, priorities, procedures, and to reschedule activities in response to changing conditions or multiple work demands
• Ability to work well with others in a group and foster a team climate within the group where members are
• committed to a common goal
• Enthusiastic with a high level of commitment
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Computer knowledge an asset
