Quest Regional Rehabilitation Centre, a not for profit Society for Adult Support and Rehabilitation provides dedicated and enriched residential rehabilitation and outreach services for persons with developmental, behavioural and mental health challenges. As a member of the Quest team you will work directly with individuals to empower the person, allow for personal growth and independence.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and reporting to the Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for performing specific assigned nursing procedures and resident care activities for designated resident. The LPN works collaboratively with clinical team members to ensure resident needs are met.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing Program
• Current certification in Nova Scotia
• License in good standing
• Strong desire to work in a mental health setting
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Must take initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision
• Respectful and hardworking team player with a professional and courteous manner

Hours of Work

• Commencing as soon as possible
• Rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays
