MOBILE CRANE & HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC

We have one of the largest and diverse rental fleets of hydraulic cranes in Atlantic Canada and offer a wide selection of boom trucks, carry decks, all terrain, crawler, truck and rough terrain cranes. Responsibilities:
- Utilize problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and efficient workmanship.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, providing accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks and trailers.
- Adhere to company rules and safety policies, maintaining a clean work station.
- Document all repairs, modifications, and inspections for entry into our maintenance information database.
- Ensure all mobile crane equipment is operating reliably and safely.
- Use computerized and other testing equipment to assess repair requirements.
- Conduct regular service, preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed.
- Analyze maintenance procedures and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Identify and report part requirements and supply needs.
- Promptly report safety issues to supervisors for timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Service Technician certificate or Truck & Transport Red Seal.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clear criminal background check.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour (Compensation package of ($49-$54/hr)
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
