Corey Nutrition Company is a family-owned manufacturer based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. We are known for producing high quality pet food and aquaculture feed and ship our products worldwide.

We are currently looking for an experienced, detail oriented, full-time employee to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Perform all accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections, ensuring accuracy and promptness.

· Daily processing of AR cash receipts for all banks and currencies to customer accounts, ensuring payments are applied correctly as per payment remittances.

· Responsible for cheque deposits to the bank.

· Investigation of any unmatched receipts in a timely manner.

· Monthly resolution of reconciling AR items (i.e. short payments, overpayments, etc).

· Weekly review of AR Aging, contacting customers to ensure timely collections.

· Maintain a detailed collections tracking spreadsheet, escalating concerns over 60 days to the manager.

· Assist with providing audit documentation related to AR billing/support and cash receipts.

· Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.

· Identify problem accounts, investigating and resolving issues relating to invoices, payment discrepancies and account reconciliation.

· Support team members in various projects and tasks.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Syspro ERP.

· Ability to deal with multiple variables and time constraints.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Works well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of related work experience
• University or College degree considered an asset.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production industry an asset.
