Erosion Corrosion Piping Designer

As part of the Metallurgical Engineering & Inspection department at Braya Renewable Fuels, the Erosion Corrosion Piping Designer position is a key position within ME&I with a primary responsibility of draw and update/revise Isometric and equipment drawings, field walkdowns and entering data in asset management software. The Erosion Corrosion Piping Designer is also responsible for maintaining AutoCAD menu customization and LISP's files associated with Asset Management Tools.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Engineering Technology program or have equivalent knowledge and experience
  • AutoCAD Design diploma with AutoCAD experience
  • Familiar with applicable codes and standards including the National Board Inspection Code
  • Asset Management Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work-related refinery experience
  • API and/or NBIC certified would be an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven dedication to health, safety and environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

Physical Demands

  • Working at heights and/or confined spaces.
  • Regularly lifts/moves object up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifts/moves >50lbs. Push/Pulling forces up to 50lbs are required
  • Work repetitively involves reaching/stretching, bending, and twisting; regular standing, walking, and climbing
  • Use of gross and fine motor skills and maintaining physical balance (e.g., Ladders/scaffolding)
  • Work environments can present exposure to loud noises or environmental hazards
