About Our Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Asset Planning Group, the Lead Maintenance Planner ensures preventative maintenance activities are planned and implemented efficiently according to industrial regulations / standards maintenance strategies, policies, procedures. Collaborate with all housing districts to ensure that maintenance plans align with broader organizational goals to ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, productivity, asset reliability and cost effectiveness in government owned public housing properties province wide.

Responsabilités

• Designs, develops, and documents maintenance planning and scheduling policies, procedures, and standards according to maintenance strategy and asset management standards. Streamlines the maintenance planning process and ensures the maintenance policies and procedures are followed consistently across the housing districts and the public housing portfolio through communication and guidance to the Operations Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, Operational requirements, OEM's, Department of Labour, or other Regulatory requirements.

• Leads the development and finalization of Annual Maintenance Plan (AMP). Leads maintenance planning meetings and ensures the Annual Maintenance Plan gets appropriate funding approvals. Liaises with multiple stakeholders in Engineering, Maintenance, Risk Management, Finance and Procurement through planning and execution. Ensures the Annual Maintenance Plan meets the technical/regulatory/safety standards of the assets, improves asset reliability, coordinates with operations and capital work and is cost effective and achievable.

• Provides senior level of planning expertise and ensures the Annual Maintenance Plan is properly communicated to maintenance managers. Develops Monthly Maintenance Plans according to AMP to make sure the work plans are being followed & documented. Monitors the implementation of monthly maintenance plans, and coordinates changes as required. Responsible for documentation change & control process for annual maintenance plans.

• Develops performance metrics for assigned area and conducts performance/productivity analysis. Generates control charts, regular and ad hoc reports, and dashboards to assist the measurement of maintenance performance relating to the AMP.

• Analyses maintenance performance versus goals and targets and recommends improvement plans from planning perspective. Identifies potential risks and opportunities according to the analysis, down-time of critical assets recommends action plans and alerts the operations & Maintenance Manager and Director on the critical issues.

• Archives work packages from completed preventative maintenance work of AMP & Capital Works for future reference in the Asset Management System. Responsible for dissemination of work packages to Yardi Master Data.

• Liaise with Risk Management & ensure all the documentation is provided as required for insurance claims and track work being performed under these claims.

• Works closely with Operations & maintenance, Building Design Group to strategize on how changes can be rolled out effectively across Maintenance. Provides critical information to guide Maintenance and Engineering decision making when it comes to planning maintenance activities and determining the impact of changes.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field plus 6 years related work experience.
• Experience in infrastructure operations, building maintenance and onsite construction work.
• Knowledge of building systems such as Electrical, Lighting, Architectural, Structural and Mechanical including HVAC, Heating, and Conveying Equipment
• Experience using Building Automation Specialty Systems such as Server Rooms, Humidification and Refrigeration Systems.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Valid Driver's License required to independently attend site visits.

Salary Range: $81,673.18 - $95,924.06 annually
