Production Team Member, DuraCast

DuraCast is a leader in the production and supply of pre-cast concrete products for the retaining wall and hardscapes market. Based in Dartmouth and serving customers throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI the company's growth and success has been built on industry knowledge, innovative approaches, ethical business practices, quality products and excellent service.

To continue our growth and success, the company requires the services of a Production Team Member to assist in the production of our Redi-Rock, Rosetta and other pre-cast concrete products.

More specifically, the duties of the position will include:

• Operating forklift truck, wheel loader, overhead crane and other equipment.
• Hands-on production of pre-cast concrete products.
• Pouring of ready-mix concrete; preparing and stripping forms.
• Shipping of finished product.
• Receiving of raw materials.
• Maintaining finished product inventory.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Concrete placing experience
• Experience operating and maintaining forklift trucks.
• Experience operating and maintaining wheel loaders.
• Production experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Safety training.
• Ability to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Computer skills.
