WorkSafeNB is seeking two Senior Financial Analysts in our Chief Financial Office. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Reporting, you will plan, organize, and implement processes for financial reporting, analysis, and budget development. You will also interact with leaders to build their financial acumen and to fully integrate WorkSafeNB’s financial discipline across the organization.

Your key areas of responsibility include:

· Producing timely, complete, and accurate financial reports that are compliant with accounting standards.

· Planning, implementing, and facilitating the annual corporate budgeting process across all departments, resulting in the annual operational and capital budget for WorkSafeNB.

· Monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial information, including revenue and cost trends.

· Collaborating with internal departments to produce forecasts and monthly financial statements.

· Fostering a culture that embraces innovation, learning and continuous improvement. Building and implementing role model leadership strategies which inspires staff to constructive dialogue and engagement.

You, as a successful candidate, possess:

· Must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Science, Engineering, or another related discipline.

· Must have 3-5 years relevant experience in a financial management role with a strong background in accounting principles and financial analysis.

· Must be certified as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

· Extensive in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting (e.g., International Financial Reporting Standards)

Written and spoken competency in English is required for both positions.

Pay Scale $82,649.23 to $97,234.40

Hours of work are those required to perform the assigned tasks but shall not be less than 35 hours per week.

Your primary workspace will be from your in-home office, with the occasional expectation of in person meetings, for that reason, working from outside the province or country is not permissible.
