Your Contribution

As a Mechanical Engineering Designer, you will work in collaboration with the Mechanical team. You will be expected to work independently with attention to detail on projects of varying size and complexity including fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and digital control systems for commercial, health care, commercial, and institutional buildings. The position will also involve dealing with clients, contractors, and suppliers in the positive promotion of the firm.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Design of various mechanical projects using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Preparation and verification of drawings and specifications.
  • Energy modelling.
  • Field data collection.
  • Opinions of probable construction costs.
  • Investigations and studies.
  • Building condition audits and asset management planning.
  • Tender and construction phase services.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules

Your Profile

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or a Mechanical/Building Systems Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited college.
  • Recent graduate to 3 years' experience in mechanical design using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Certified Energy Analyst or Certified Energy Manager designation would be considered an asset.
  • Sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, bilingual (French) would be an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and an aptitude for taking on new challenges.
  • Drive, self-sufficiency, resourcefulness.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
