Health & Safety Coordinator

AL-Pack Enterprises Ltd., located in Moncton NB, is a packaging manufacturer and distributor that delivers innovative solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Moncton facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety

• Promote a safety culture across the organization
• Plan and implement OHS policies and programs
• Drive orientations, coaching, and safety training
• Establish, promote, and implement health and safety programs, work instructions and procedures
• Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
• Enforce preventative measures
• Conduct risk assessments
• Work closely with Supervisors and Managers on safety related activities
• Perform regular safety inspections/audits

Education, Training & Experience:

• Minimum (2) years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
• Diploma or equivalent training and business experience
• Certificate in occupational health and safety would be considered an asset

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
