What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 3 or more yearsexperience building enterprise grade or web-scale software using Java and Open Source technologies
- Due to security clearance reason, you need to be in Canada for at least 5 years and your current work status should be either Permanent Resident or Citizen.
- You have earned a post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in business, technology or relevant field.
- Strong conceptualization ability, excellent ability to translate abstract ideas into working, high quality code
- Highly collaborative and capable of working in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Framework, Oracle, XML, JSON, Junit and numerous JavaScript libraries
- Familiarity with commonly used IDE tools like Eclipse/ Intellij, Database tools like PL-SQL Developer
- Working knowledge of Github or other version control tools.
- Participating in requirement analysis, design and code reviews with a focus on ensuring your solutions are high quality, secure, reliable and performant
- Strong collaboration skills demonstrated through the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, quality control analysts and security experts, as examples
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Security Clearance Requirement:In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) prior to your start date . This includes; Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
