Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Support analytics teams with the data that will allow them to create and deliver products to optimize revenue growth
  • Improve customer experiences using predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • Manage maintenance of the Data Office's data governance standards and data management playbooks and its alignment to related policies and standards
  • Provide consultative guidance.
  • Develop and support tools and procedures to measure alignment to standards and data management maturity.
  • Enable the Bank's adoption of the Data Governance Framework and work with 2nd line and Audit to meet regulatory obligations.
  • Work to design and develop technical solutions for enterprise data pipelines and services.
  • Champion change in the bank by promoting data literacy, data analytics, and data informed decision making.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have experience with:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in some of these areas, such as data management, data governance, data architecture or data engineering.
  • You have a university degree in business or in a relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Strong project management and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Proven data literacy and excellent storytelling — The ability to simplify and describe complex data concepts to stakeholders outside of data.
  • Ability to manage process and planning, facilitate teamwork, and coordinate execution of multiple deliverables.
  • You have experience with Big Data ecosystem tools (e.g., Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Spark, Google Cloud Platform).
  • You have experience using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or QlikView.
