Job Summary

The Director, Fleet Services is responsible to manage the fleet operational activities, supporting the various sectors within the Ocean Capital group of companies. The position provides overall leadership and direction for Ocean Capital's fleet operations and ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Director, Fleet Operations is focused on providing excellent customer service while striving for lowest total cost of ownership and highest availability of our fleet assets. Travel to various provinces and locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of fleet departments
• Manage fleet team
• Create and maintain internal relationships with business leadership across Ocean Capital group of companies
• Oversee compliance reporting for government and insurance regulators
• Manage quarterly and annual KPIs
• Active member of accident review committee, reviewing fleet incident and accident investigations and making remedial action recommendations
• Create and maintain external relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Additional duties as assigned

Technical / Business Requirements

• Post-secondary certificate or degree
• 15+ years' related experience
• Experience in the field of fleet optimization
• Proficient in producing management presentations
