OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Mariner Innovations is seeking .NET Developers for both contract and full-time roles. In this role, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Develop a detailed design from a top-level design specification.
  • Working with system design specifications, develops detailed specifications for software programming applications or test cases.
  • Designs, codes, and debugs
  • Conducts system level testing.
  • Maintains programs in accordance with standards.
  • Involved in the maintenance and enhancement of existing operational application systems.
  • Involved with developing business knowledge and customer relationships where appropriate.
  • Responsible for technical documentation with an increasing focus on functional documentation.
  • Schedules and estimates development tasks.
  • Performs code review of other developer s components.
  • Assists in developing code prototypes to demonstrate proposed solutions.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
  • Understanding of API Integration and web services methods (REST, SOAP, XML).
  • Experience with SQL databases and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
  • Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and .NET Core.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks/projects with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of software testing techniques and tools.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure).
