International Recruitment Coordinator
Temporary Full-Time (Approx. 6 months with possible extension)
Human Resources Department
Gander or Grand Falls-Windsor

Definition of Work:
Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Recruitment, the International Recruitment Coordinator will support recruitment processes for individuals who are internationally educated and/or not currently residing in Canada. The Recruitment Coordinator will work closely with Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to ensure Central Health is positioned to attract, employ and retain individuals who are internationally educated and/or are not currently residing in NL.

The successful candidate will work with candidates and their families, hiring managers, municipalities and other community-based stakeholders to provide support and assistance during the recruitment, hiring and onboarding process.

The successful candidate will be committed to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements.

Required qualifications:
" An undergraduate degree.
" A minimum of three years' experience in recruitment, including planning, promoting and hosting events with diverse stakeholders.
" Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with diverse stakeholder groups.
" Demonstrated success in the recruitment of professionals in the healthcare field.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Experience with international recruitment processes.
" Knowledge of programs and processes of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills.
" Consistent demonstration of the core values of NL Health Services: Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence (I CARE)
" Understanding of a Person and Family Centered Care philosophy within healthcare.

" A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
" A satisfactory certificate of conduct from the RCMP or local police authority

Preferred qualifications:
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Applicants claiming equivalency are required to explain in their cover letter how their education and experience meet the required qualifications.

Hours of Work: 70 hours bi-weekly (Shift work may be required)
Salary: HL17 ($59,030-$76,739) Classification under review
