Temporary Call-in (For Relief Purposes)
Social Worker I
Rufus Guinchard Health Centre/Bonne Bay Health Centre

Duties: The primary role of this position is to support the Rufus Guinchard and Bonne Bay Health Centre teams. In addition to supporting rural health, other duties may be deemed necessary to assist other regional social work needs, for example, assist with home first with willingness to provide standby duties, and assist in population health services in areas of community health, community support and mental health and addictions. Social Work services will include assessment, discharge planning, case management, counselling, health promotion, client advocacy, client navigation and community development.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor of Social Work and Registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Workers is required. Experience working in a Palliative Care, Long Term Care, and an Acute Care setting is preferable.

Please Note: Travel within the health neighbourhoods is required and the use of a private vehicle is a condition of employment.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
0800-1600, 0830-1630, 0900-1700 Hours
Salary Scale: $37.20 to $41.63 per Hour
