MPE a division of Englobe is looking for an Environmental Process Engineer to work in the Calgary office.

Your Contribution

As an Environmental Process Engineer, you will work in collaboration with the Water Resource Team. Your duties will involve working on a wide range of projects including water and wastewater treatment plants, water and wastewater pump stations, and general municipal infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Design work related to water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and related infrastructure
  • Development of technical reports
  • Provide construction supervision and administration for water and wastewater related projects
  • Infrastructure assessments and studies
  • Provide general assistance to Project Managers within the group.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience.
  • Be an independent Project Manager.
  • Be a registered P.Eng. with extensive experience working on municipal projects in Alberta.
  • Have a solid background in Civil and Environmental Process Engineering with experience in water and/or wastewater treatment system design.
  • Have a working knowledge in Structural, HVAC, Electrical and Controls.
  • Communicate effectively and have the ability to lead a high-performing, multi-discipline team through design and contract administration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience.
