Family Practice
Permanent Full Time; Salaried
Location: St. Anthony, NL

We are currently seeking the services of a Family Practice Physician at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, NL. This opportunity is available immediately.

Qualifications:

" To be considered, candidates must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador; the criteria for licensure are outlined on the CPSNL website (www.cpsnl.ca)
" Additionally, the successful candidate must satisfy credentialing requirements of Labrador-Grenfell Health.
" Earned Medical Degree
" Work experience is an asset
" A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance
" A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority

Duties: (Included but not limited to)

" Your primary duties are to provide full scope of practice which includes obstetrics, emergency medicine and family medicine at the facility.
" The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care. Patient and Worker safety at the Labrador Health Centre is a priority; as such, the successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to partner with all team members by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.
" Coverage of on call commitments, including weekends and holidays.
" The successful candidate will work as a part of a Team of physicians and nurses to provide the required services identified above.

Salary:

" Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador

* Approved relocation expenses paid at 100% with a two year commitment to our Health Authority
