Description:
Labrador-Grenfell Health is actively looking to fill a Permanent Full Time family physician at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

If you answer yes, and you are eligible for a full or provisional license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL), then come join our multidisciplinary team at the Labrador-Grenfell Health Authority where you will work in:
" A modern and well equipped 26 bed hospital ( with Emergency, Satellite dialysis, Inpatient, Outpatient, Oncology, Long-term Care, Continuing Care, Public Health, Diagnostic imaging, Laboratory, Therapeutic Intervention/Rehabilitation, Mental Health & Addictions Services);
" The thriving and culturally diverse community of Upper Lake Melville, with a population of about 10,000 and an abundance of recreational amenities and cultural richness that cannot be found anywhere else in a town our size.
" A supportive work environment where we greatly value all members of our team.
Hours of Work: 75 hours biweekly.
Qualification:
Applicants must be eligible for full or provisional licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador and satisfy credentialing requirements for Labrador-Grenfell Health. The criteria for licensure are outlined on the CPSNL website (www.cpsnl.ca ). In accordance with Canadian Immigration regulations, priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
Duties:
Your primary duties are to provide full scope of practice which includes obstetrics, emergency medicine, family medicine and inpatient care at the hospital.
Remuneration:
Remuneration ranges from $173922.00 - 234243.00 annually in accordance with the current Memorandum of Understanding between the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. After hours work in our Category A ER is funded at $194.62/hour.

Other Incentives:
Other benefits include 100% relocation assistance with a two year commitment and $5000 annual housing subsidy.
